Sulphur, Okla.– Chickasaw National Recreation Area staff will host “Eagle Watch” on Saturday, January 20, 2024 and Saturday, January 27, 2024. Both watches will start at 9 a.m. inside the Travertine Nature Center and continue later in the morning at Lake of the Arbuckles. After a lunch break, additional activities will be offered at the Chickasaw Cultural Center.

Sulphur Stand-Out Wide Receiver Signs With New Hampshire

The Sulphur Bulldog powerlifting team continued to make history after winning their sixth consecutive state championship in March, beating out two other teams by wide margins.

Heath Gilbert returned as the Lady Bulldog’s head softball coach in August after a year off.
It was another outstanding calendar year for Sulphur athletics, as the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs continue to set the standard on and off the field in southern Oklahoma.

Four Sulphur seniors were named to the Class 3A-2 All-District team last week, after the Dogs finished the season 8-4.

Sulphur lost its final two games before Christmas break, as the Lady Dogs fell on the road at Byng and Pauls Valley.
