Charles Edward Imotichey, Sr.

Charles Edward Imotichey, Sr., 72, a lifelong Sulphur and Mill Creek area resident, was born on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 1951, in Sulphur, to Edward and Imogene (Wright) Imotichey. He passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in Tulsa.

He graduated from Sulphur High School with the class of 1969.

Charles was a loader operator for Rock Crushers in Mill Creek and Davis and also did window tinting.

He married Glenda Bunch in 1968, he later married Beverly Morse on September 27, 1977. Charles was a member of Jehovah’s Witness and was a member of the Chickasaw Nation.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing softball for many years. Charles played football for the Sulphur Bulldogs during his high school years. He loved visiting with his family and friends.

Charles is survived by his children, Charles Edward “Chuck” Imotichey, Jr. and wife Pam of Luther, Michael Shawn Imotichey of Colorado, Chato Imotichey of Mill Creek, Nakisha Hargis and husband Terry of Tishomingo; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Raymond Gatlin of Oklahoma City; sister, Susie Lockaby Wright; nephews, Tori Lee Imotichey, Terry Lee Imotichey, and Travis Lee Imotichey; fur baby, Maka; along with aunts, uncles, and other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Tony Lee Imotichey.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday,Aug. 3, 2024 at Temple of God in Connerville with Rev. Randy Wade officiating.

Brown’s Funeral Service of Atoka was in charge of arrangements.
