John Holman, OSU Extension Ag Educator and county director celebrated his retirement after 11 years of service in Murray county. Holman was very involved with the county 4-H program as well as working with the state Blue Thumb water conservation and water monitoring program.
Holman is a graduate of Oklahoma State University where he graduated with a degree in wildlife ecology. Upon graduation he began his career teaching high school science in Quapaw, Oklahoma before moving to the Noble Foundation in Ardmore where he did wildlife research for 17 years.
Holman’s side interests include private consulting for recreational land development.
John and his wife Laura make their home in Sulphur.
