Services for Louis Ray Daniels, 86, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Vondel Smith Funeral Home in Oklahoma City.
Mr. Daniels was born December 4, 1937 in Cotton County and passed away in Sulphur onAugust 18, 2024.
His parents were A. R. Daniels Sr., and Lola Wood Daniels.
He and Patricia M. Gunter were married on December 6, 1957.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia of the home; one daughter, Rebecca Phillips of Norman; one son and daughter-in-law, Cecil and Kandi Daniels of Sachse, TX; two granddaughters, Monica and Brian Gillespie of Florida, Marie Hill of Edmond; two grandsons, Mike and wife Katy Daniels and Tyler Daniels, all of Norman; and nine great grand children, Ben, Josh and Heidi Gillespie of Florida, Katy, Sam and Adeline Hill of Edmond, Karlee Long, Lilly and Karson Daniels, all of Norman; brother, Elmer Daniels; sister, Lois Blanka; sister-in-law, Lucy Daniels; brother-in-law, B. J. Johnson; sister-in-law, Sarah Self; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Carl and Donna Roberts; as well as nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond and his wife Joyce Daniels,and Chester Daniels, sister-in-law Myrna Daniels; and an infant daughter.
