A Sulphur man was charged with engaging in lewd or indecent acts with a child under 16 years of age, according to documents filed in Murray County District Court.
According to an affidavit and charging documents, Curtis Mark Tully, Jr., 43, was charged with sexually assaulting the female victim since she was 11 years old.
Tully is alleged to have picked up the victim from school in April or May, 2011 and after that time, “it became an almost daily occurrence for Curtis to have sex with her,” according to a Chickasaw Nation criminal investigator.
According to the investigator writing in the affidavit, over 2,000 pages of phone messages between the victim and Tully were extract- ed in a forensic examination from her phone. In one of the messages, the victim advised several times “she no longer wished to have sex with Tully,” the investigator wrote in the affidavit.
During those conversations, Tully repeatedly mentioned having a 13-year relationship with the victim and about her “giving it all up.” He said he had to choose for 13 years to have his family or have her, the investigator wrote in the affidavit.
