January 23, 1942—September 13, 2024 Marian Frances Sharber, 82, was born January 23, 1942 in El Dorado, OK to the late Thomas and& Esther (Durham) Adams. She passed from this earth on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024 in Sulphur surrounded by her family. She and Doyle Sharber were married on April 20, 1968, in Stratford, OK. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2017.
Mary grew up in the Hickory/ Sulphur area. As a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she devoted her life to unconditionally loving and caring for others. She enjoyed camping, baking, tending her flower gardens, and doting on her family.
Survivors include her children, Lynda Grisham of Washington, Clint Dilbeck of Sulphur, Mary Lovett of McAlester, Shawn Sharber of Sulphur, Misty Rockford of Sulphur; step-son, Nathan Sharber of Bethany; daughter-in-law, Liz Dilbeck of Sulphur; sister-in-law, Laura Sharber of Wynnewood; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Dilbeck; step-son, Shannon Helderman; great-granddaughter, Cooper Lynn Dilbeck; her brother, Leroy Langford; and her three sisters, Josephine Beasley, Beatrice Pettitt, and Tommie Rinehart.
Viewing will be 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Crossway Church Chapel in Sulphur, Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM, on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024 at Hickory Cemetery, with Pastor Willard McCartney Jr officiating.Arrangements were made under the direction and care of DeArman Funeral Home in Sulphur.
