Sulphur junior wide receiver Maddax Mobly and senior defensive lineman Justus Gilliam were named Players of the Week for their outstanding effort in Sulphur’s 48-0 win over Perkins-Tryon in last Friday night’s district win.
Gilliam was virtually unblockable on defense from his defensive lineman position and made crushing blocks offensively in the Dog’s win.
Mobly rushed the ball 15 times for 134 yards including a 65yard touchdown and hauled in a 70-yard touchdown reception.
