Preparations are now complete and the show is ready to go this week, October 3 & 4 as OHCE presents their annual quilt show.
This year’s theme is “ACornucopia of Quilts” and will feature the talents and skills of area quilters and crafters from across Southern Oklahoma as well as Murray County.
There is no charge to attend and the event is held at the Murray County Expo. Doors open for viewing both days at 9:00a.m. and remain open until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and until 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
Lunch will be available both days and a special spaghetti dinner will be served on Thursday evening October 3 from 5:00--
7:00 p.m. Cost for the dinner for a family of four dinner box is
$20.00 and individual meals are $8 and children under 12 years of age $5.00. The meal is carry out or dine-in.

1:00 p.m.-- Pillow Talk Vendors will be on hand with fabrics, notions, foods and kitchen items plus much more.
One of the favorite activities of the quilt show is the “Quilt Turning” which will feature quilts that tell a story. Anyone in the area who has a quilt, regardless of age of the quilt, is invited to share their quilt’s story. These quilts and their written story need to be brought in at the Expo anytime on Tuesday.
This year’s featured artist is the group known as Piece Makers and they will be displaying their many talents through quilts, hand-crafted items, various crafts and much more.

This year’s show coordinators, Linda Shelby and Vicki Grinstead, have worked hard to prepare and present this year’s show and they invite everyone to come and enjoy the many beautiful quilts and exhibits.
