Sulphur High School’s annual homecoming activities will be held Friday starting with a pep assembly at Agee Field, followed by the annual parade through Sulphur, and ending with the coronation of the king and queen Friday just prior to the game.

Sulphur High School’s annual homecoming activities will be held Friday starting with a pep assembly at Agee Field, followed by the annual parade through Sulphur, and ending with the coronation of the king and queen Friday just prior to the game.

This year’s queen will be selected from three senior candidates, Landry Couch, Paisley Eason and Reagan Watson. Their escorts will be seniors Nash Williamson, Caden Cole and Justus Gilliam, respectively.

Selected as the princesses for this year’s event are junior Emrie Williams, sophomore Bintlee Burch, and freshman Riley Priest. Their escorts will be Jett Runyan, Maddux Boyd and Baer Webb, respectively.

The coronation will be held just prior to the Sulphur-McLoud game on Friday beginning around 6:30 p.m.

Following is a brief synopsis of this year’s queen and king candidates: Senior Candidate, Escort The first senior candidate is Landry Couch, daughter of Jess and Shannon Couch.

Landry is a member of Crossway First Baptist Church.

Her activities, accomplishments and awards include: varsity golf, FCA Leadership Team, Crossway Church Leadership Team and SHS Yearbook. She is member of the 2022 and 2023 Golf Academic State Champion Team and a member of the 4A golf regional championship team. Landry is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society, National Honor Society and is on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Her escort is Nash Williamson, son of Jamie and Kelsey Williamson and Krystal Beene.

His activities, awards and accomplishments are: varsity football, varsity powerlifting, FCA and FFA. He serves as vice president of FFA and has served as class president for three years. Nash is an individual state champion powerlifter, three-time state champion powerlifting team, a member of the 2022 and 2023 Academic State Champion Football Teams, a member of the Academic State Champion Track Team and a three-year starter for varsity football. He served as student council president, was Kiwanis Sophomore of the Year and is a RYLA leadership award recipient.

Senior Candidate, Escort The second senior candidate is Paisley Eason, daughter of Brad and Allison Eason.

Paisley is a member of Crossway Church. Her activities, accomplishments and awards include: varsity golf, FCA Leadership Team, Crossway Leadership Team, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and a Junior PGA member. She was the 4A individual golf state runner-up and 4A regional golf champion.

Paisley is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society and National Honor Society.

Her escort is Caden Cole, son of Corey and Carrie Cole.

Caden is a member of Crossway First Baptist Church.

His activities, awards and accomplishments are: varsity football, varsity track and powerlifting. He is a member of FCA, Key Club, Foreign Language Club, Football Leadership Team and is senior class vice president. Caden is also a member of the Academic State Champion Track Team and the 2022 and 2023 Football Academic State Champion Teams.

He is on the Superintendents Honor Roll, a member of the National Honor Society and is an OklahomaAcademic Scholar. He will be attending the University of Central Oklahoma next fall where he will be playing football.

Senior Candidate, Escort The third senior candidate is Reagan Watson, daughter of Luke and Lisa Watson.

Reagan is a member of Crossway Church. Her activities, awards and accomplishments are: varsity golf, FCA lead team, Crossway Leadership Team, SHS yearbook and Crossway youth band.

She is a member of the 2022 and 2023 girls academic state champion golf teams. Reagan is also a member of the National Honor Society.

Her escort is Justus Gilliam, son of David and Jesica Gilliam.

Justus is a member of Cheek Baptist Church. His activities, awards and accomplishments are: varsity football, FCAand Football Leadership Team. Justus is a fouryear varsity starter in football and wrestling, a two-time regional wrestling champion and a 2024 state champion in wrestling.

Junior Princess, Escort The junior princess is Emrie Williams, daughter of Justin and Jenny Williams.

Emrie attends Crossway Church. Her activities, accomplishments and awards include: varsity golf and FCA.

Her escort is Jett Runyan, son of Bear and Lory Runyan.

Jett is a member of Crossway First Baptist Church.

His activities, awards and accomplishments include: varsity football, varsity baseball, varsity wrestling and FCA. He is a two-time dual state qualifier and a member of the 2022 and 2023 Football Academic State Champion Teams.

Sophomore Princess, Escort

The sophomore princess is Bintlee Burch, daughter of Cody and Brooke Burch. Her activities, accomplishments and awards include varsity wrestling and student council.

Bintlee is a member of Oklahoma Honor Society and is on the Principal’s Honor Roll.

Her escort is Maddux Boyd, son of Lakrista Odell and Cody Boyd.

Maddux attends Crossway Baptist Church.

His activities, awards and accomplishments include: varsity football, varsity track and FCA Lead Team.

Maddux is a member of the 2022 and 2023 FootballAcademic State Championship teams. He is also on the Principal’s Honor Roll.

Freshman Princess, Escort The freshman princess is Riley Priest, daughter of Zac and Summer Priest. Riley is a member of Crossway First Baptist Church. Her activities, accomplishments and awards include: FCA, student council, Key Club, Crossway Student Ministry Lead team and she serves as freshman class secretary. She is an all- star tumbler, all- star cheerleader and is on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Her escort is Baer Webb, son of Rodney and Casie Webb.

His activities, accomplishments and awards include: varsity football and varsity wrestling. He is a two-time wrestling dual state qualifier, two-time wrestling regional champion, state champion wrestler and a member of the football academic state championship team.

Flower Girl, Crown Bearer Serving as this year’s homecoming flower girl and crown bearer are Tilley Brinson and Lawson Bates.

Tilley is the daughter of Tim and Kyla Brinson. She is in kindergarten and enjoys playing Barbies and going to Momo and Papa’s house. When she grows up she wants to be a teacher.

The crown bearer is Lawson Bates, son of Grant and Megan Bates.

Lawson is in Pre-K and enjoys going to the lake with family and spending time at the basketball gym with his dad. When he grows up he wants to be a police officer.
