Sulphur’s Maddax Mobly, a junior wide receiver and free safety, and Jett Runyan, a senior wide receiver and linebacker, were named Players of the Week for their outstanding effort in Sulphur’s 49-6 win over Seminole last Friday.
Mobly scored three touchdowns, including a 70-yard punt return, a 30-yard interception return and had a fumble recovery. He also rushed for 58 yards, and hauled in 19 yards in passes.
Runyan caught 44 yards in passes from quarterback Luke Linville, including a 37-yard, behind-the-back grab that gave the Dogs a three-touchdown lead on the Chieftains.
