Barbara Joyce Beaver, 85, was born on June 14, 1939 in Paris, Arkansas. She was born to Herman and Edna Brown. She passed away October 27, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Barbara enjoyed being a schoolteacher at Barnes Elementary School for many years. She enjoyed reading, going for walks and loved animals. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for 48 years.
She is survived by her husband Jim of 57 years, son Brett Beaver and wife Melodie, daughter Shelley Stewart and her husband Joseph, and nine children; Tyler Shannon,Azalea Stewart, Magnolia Beaver, Lilette Beaver, Linnea Beaver, Amaryllis Beaver, Maria Beaver, Olliver Stewart and Ezra Beaver and one great-grandson Mason Shannon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bill.
Services were held on Monday, Nov. 4, 2024 at the First Southern Baptist Church of Del City Oklahoma.
