Graveside services for John Julius “JJ” Coll were held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, Nov. 8, at the Green Hill Cemetery, in Davis with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr will officiating.
JJ was born on July 4, 1980, in Pauls Valley, to Jerry Lynn and Janet Lynne (Richards) Coll. He died Tuesday, Nov. 5, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 44.
JJ grew up in Davis, graduating from Davis High School, Class of 2000. After high school, he spent several years working in the auto paint and body industry, prior to working as a truck driver. Most recently, JJ worked as a short order cook for Sonic and Boomerang Diner, both in Davis.
Survivors include his mom, Janet Coll, his daughter, Jayden Nicole Coll; brother, David Coll; nieces and nephew, Hailey, Niah, and Noah Coll; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
JJ was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Coll, as well as his maternal grandparents, Frankie and Helen Richards; and paternal grandparents, Glenn and Billie Coll.
