The November meeting of the sheep and goat club was called to order by President, Braxton Edmoundson at 3:30 p.m. on the 11th. Vice-President, Brooklyn Gordon led the members in the flag salute and the 4-H ritual. Due to the absence of the secretary, reporter, Braylee Lewis called roll. There were 3 members, 2 leaders and 1 guest present. Braylee read the October minutes. Brooklyn made a motion to approve minutes as read and leader Brenda seconded the motion. Minutes were approved as read. Members participated in an ice breaker activity. Announcements made by leader Joy Lynch were: Community meeting will be at 6:00 p.m. on November 19; table setting contest will be at 4:00 p.m. on November 19; deadline for dropping off items for the Holiday Festival contest is November 15 and can be picked up at the community meeting on November 19; no community meeting will be held in December; entries for spring livestock show are due December 16 and fee is $20; speech and patriotism contests are set January 7 and illustrated speech contest will be January 23. Members Braxton and Braylee demonstrated sitting up their table setting designs for the contest. Members and leaders gave suggestions and encouragement. Members enjoyed refreshments and the next sheep and goat club meeting will be at 3:30 p.m. at the Expo on December 9. Meeting was adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
