Sulphur’s Austin Garrett, was named Player of the Week for his outstanding effort in the Dog’s 66-0 win over Kingfisher in the first round of the Class 3A playoffs last Friday. Garrett, a senior running back and linebacker, was the game’s leading rusher with 98 yards, including one run where he broke five tackles on a 75- yard touchdown. He also had several tackles for losses from his line backer position. The Player of the Week is sponsored by Crossway First Baptist Church and the Sulphur Times-Democrat.
