Among the significant events to occur in 2024 was the Sulphur Public School raising of the final I-beam in the new building construction in the fall.
Everyone gathered to sign their name on the beam before crews raised the beam in place. Several flags were attached to the beam and unfurled as it was hoisted into place by a huge crane.
