Davis Couple To Inducted Into OSU Hall Of Fame
Dr. John H. and Dr. Catherine E. Jameson will be inducted into the OSU Hall of Fame in ceremonies on Feb. 7.

STILLWATER, Okla. (Jan. 13, 2025) – Dr. John H. and Dr. Catherine E. Jameson of Davis, Oklahoma, are two of six honorees being inducted into the Oklahoma State University Hall of Fame.

The OSU Alumni Association is hosting an induction ceremony Friday, Feb . 7, at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Induction into the OSU Hall of Fame is the highest honor bestowed by the university. It recognizes alumni and former students with outstanding lifetime achievements in society and professional life.

Dr. John H. Jameson graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in zoology in 1970. He completed his doctorate of dental surgery degree at Creighton University in 1974. Dr. Catherine E. Jameson attended OSU before earning a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, followed by a master’s degree in psychology from Goddard College and a doctorate in management from Walden University.

While at OSU, John served on the College of Arts and Sciences Student Council, was sports editor of the OSU yearbook and was pledge trainer for Lambda Chi Alpha. He also worked for four years at the Edmon Low Library.

John practiced dentistry in Wynnewood for 30 years and brought his knowledge of comprehensive and aesthetic dentistry as well as the integration of technology into a practice to the podium where he enjoyed speaking, writing and teaching other professionals in the USA and around the world. Cathy is the founder of Jameson Management, Inc., an international management, hygiene, and marketing firm that offers proven management and marketing systems for helping organizations improve in a positive, forward-thinking culture. She has lectured and/ or consulted in every state in the USA and in 31 countries.

John was the recipient of the Alumni Merit Award from the Creighton School of Dentistry and received the OSU Distinguished Alumni Award. He served on the board of the OSU Alumni Association and is on the Board of Governors. He is a lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association, has been involved with the Oklahoma Dental Association, Foundation for Academic Excellence, and Jameson Management, Inc. A passion for western and native American art led to his support of the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum where he serves on the Associate Board of Directors.

Cathy was inducted into the OSU College of Education and Human Sciences Hall of Fame and was the chairperson for the Education Associates Board. She served on the OSU Foundation Board of Trustees and is now on its Board of Governors. Cathy also received the OSU Distinguished Alumni Award. She is on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. She was named one of the Top 25 Women in Dentistry and received lifetime achievement awards from the Excellence in Dentistry Organization and theAcademy of Dental Office Managers. Cathy was a finalist for the StevieAward for Outstanding Entrepreneurial Women. She has had nine books and over 1,500 articles published. She is a member of the American Association of Female Executives, The National Speaker’s Association, Academy of Dental Management Consultants, and Chi Omega Women’s Fraternity.

The Jamesons are contributors to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Creighton University, scholarship donors to the OSU College of Education and Human Sciences, founding donors of the McKnight Performing Arts Center, Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, Chi Omega Women’s Fraternity, and the Christian Church of Sulphur Youth Program. They are both life members of the OSU Alumni Association.

Cathy and John own and operate the Jameson Ranch in Davis, Oklahoma, where they raise Registered Quarter Horses. They have two children -- Bretton Jameson, MD of Stillwater, and Carrie Jameson Webber of Oklahoma City. They have four grandchildren: Lauren Jameson, a senior at OSU; Cody Jameson; Benjamin Webber and Keller Webber.

This year’s other inductees include Frank Eaton, Jay Helm, Melinda Stinnett and Jerry Winchester.
