Sulphur City Council members met in en Emergency Trust Meeting on Monday, at 5:30 p.m.
The meetings was necessary to approve repairs to several of the city’s garbage trucks as well as repairs on one recently borrowed from the City of Davis.
Council members approved the following emergency agenda items:
•payment not to exceed $10,000.00 to Premiere Truck Group to replace the engine control module in truck #20;
•payment of $7,831.78 to Premiere Truck Group for diagnostics services for truck #20;
•payment of $1,848.14 to Premiere Truck Group to purchase springs for unit #24.5;
•payment not to exceed $10,000.00 to replace wiring to the truck bed controls on truck #20; and
•payment not to exceed $10,000 on replacing and repairing the damaged electrical box on the sanitation truck on loan from the City of Davis.
All five council members were present at the meeting.
