Lady Bulldogs Win Second Consecutive Powerlifting Meet
Sulphur’s Lady Bulldogs remained undefeated in powerlifting this season, winning their second consecutive meet last week.
The local girls lit up the scoreboard at the Chandler meet on Friday with 194 team points, 43 more points than their nearest competitor’s 151 team points.
Three Sulphur girls took home first place medallions and sixth others lifted their way to place medals.

Winning place medals for the Lady Dogs were: junior Madelyn McClure, 3rd (108), sophomore Kensley Rochelle, 4th (136), junior Savannah Patrick, 2nd (165), junior Oliva Cox, 2nd (198), freshman Destrie Muck, 3rd (198), and Anahi Uribe, 5th (220).
“We’re very proud of these girls! Now onto regions,” said head coach Keith Garrett.
