Lady Bulldog Crowned Champ In Oklahoma Invitational Taekwondo Tournament In Del City
Baylee Brewer, a first degree black belt certified by the World Taekwondo Federation and a member of the USAT, competed in two events this past weekend.
Representing the Bulldogs against competitors from Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and Arkansas, she won her division in both Forms (Poomse) and Olympic Sparring (Kyorgui) at the 40th annual Oklahoma Invitational Taekwondo Tournament In Del City.
Baylee is the daughter of Joshua and Lindsay Brewer of Sulphur and a freshman at Sulphur High School.
She qualified for the National Tournament by competing at Regionals in Albuquerque, NM last year and is looking for another national run this year.
Baylee this week thanked Sulphur Wrestling and 405Taekwondo in Edmond for giving her an opportunity to train at their facilities.
