Lady Dogs Far Outpace Cushing For Title
DURANT - The Sulphur Lady Bulldogs won the Large School State Powerlifting Championship in action last week.
The team scored 101 points, far outpacing Cushing’s second place finish of 87.
Zoli May won the 136 division with a top squat of 295, a top bench of 140, and a third place deadlift of 290.
Addy Hardoin in the 108 division placed third. She placed second in both squat (lifting 220) and bench (lifting 125), but a deadlift of 250 dropped her down to third.
Gracie Ratchford placed third in the 150 division, with a top bench of 145, a second place squat of 305, and a deadlift of 275.
Olivia Cox placed fourth in the 181 division, lifting a total of 755.
Destrie Muck placed fifth in the 198 division, lifting a total of 740.
Savannah Patrick (165) earned 6 points with a ninth place finish and second-ranked squat of 295. Madelyn McClure (108) earned 4 points with a seventh place finish.
Natalya Osornio (108) earned 3 points with an eighth place finish.
Anahi Uribe (220) earned 3 points with an eighth place finish. OtherLadyBulldogswhocompeted included Rilee Mathews (108), Paige Collins (121) and Kensley Rochelle (136).
