Dogs Split With Plainview, Losing On The Road And Winning At Home

Luke Linville and Mike Morris hit home runs, but it wasn’t enough as the trip to Plainview ended with a 9-8 loss for the Bulldogs.

Briar Davenport, Kaden Seitz and Cash Matlack hit doubles. Linville, Colten Cole and Davenport had two hits each.

Linville also started as pitcher, with Trabor Sartors and Drake Wood finishing the game.

Things came back together for the Bulldogs the following night, as they hosted Plainview, beating the Indians 9-6.

Sartors led the offense with 3 hits, followed by Cash Matlack and Davenport with 2 hits a piece. Sartors, Linville and Cole each hit a double.

Cole started on the mound, and Davenport and Wood finished the game.

Things really turned around during a trip to Caddo, with the Bulldogs earning a 9-3 win.

Cole had 3 hits, including 1 homerun.

Jett Runyan started on the mound, and Seitz and Wood finished the game.

Sulphur will host Marietta Thursday, compete in the Marlow Festival Friday and Saturday, host Douglass Monday, and go to Douglass Tuesday.
