The Sulphur and Davis Chambers of Commerce this week congratulated the nominees for the Murray County Joint Chamber Banquet Awards for 2023.
“These individuals and businesses have gone above and beyond to represent the cities of Sulphur and Davis in an exemplary way by giving of their time and talents through volunteering, donating money to worthy organizations, and investing in their communities,” said Misty Treptow, chamber director. “These are the individuals and businesses who always step up to the plate when they are needed and truly do so with a giving and caring spirit. We are so blessed that they have chosen to live, work, and do business in Murray County.”
The nominees are: Davis Small Business of the Year – 1st Class Portable Toilets, Davis Tag & Insurance, El Agave Mexican Restaurant, Fun Times Publishing, Okie Rents, P&M Wrecker Service, The Davis News, and Vision Bank Davis; Sulphur Small Business of the Year – Arbuckle Vet Clinic, Bison Plumbing, Conquer Kickboxing, Flowers Heat & Air, Sulphur Nutrition, and Valhalla Axes; Davis Large Business of the Year – Boomerang, C&C Contracting, Davis Public School System, Sooner Foods of Davis, and Stillwater Milling; Sulphur Large Business of the Year – Safety Plus, and Snak Shaks of Sulphur (Central & West); Helen Webber Citizen of the Year – Isaiah Hodges, and Mistie Ibarra; De Lannom Citizen of the Year – Cindy Bates, and Seandra Ramer; and The Murray County Civic Club Nominees – Davis Kiwanis Club, Hope Center Ministries, Leadership Murray County, and Sara’s Project.
