The Lady Dogs got down early and could never recover in last week’s loss at Madill.
Sulphur trailed 13-4 after a quarter and 35-19 at halftime.
“They are a talented team and we did not play our best,” said Sulphur head coach Toby Todd.
Madill led 52-26 through three quarters. The Wildcats shot 50% from the floor in the win. “They shot a really high percentage from the field and from three and it was tough to overcome,” Todd said.
Madill was 12-of-25 (48%) from three and 8-of-9 (88%) from the foul line.
Sulphur had 21 turnovers that resulted in 25 points for Madill.
The Wildcats also had an advantage in transition (12-2), points in the paint (20-14), second chance scoring (10-4) and assists (22-6).

PLAINVIEW 56, SULPHUR 29
Sulphur continued to struggle to score in a loss at Plainview last Friday.
The Lady Dogs made just seven shots in the loss. “We continued to struggle on offense,” said Todd. “They are long on defense and made it very hard for us.”
The Lady Dogs also had 27 turnovers. “You just don’t have a chance against good teams when they force you into that many turnovers,” Todd said.
The Lady Dogs were just 3-of-14 (21%) from three.
“We have to do a better job of attacking the paint,” Todd said.
