Murray County Sheriff Darin Rogers’ lawmen last week arrested Madison E. Christian, 26, of Ardmore, for drug trafficking.
Sheriffs Deputies Blake Clifton and Brandon Eddy teamed up for an interdiction shift and located a plethora of illegal drugs. Initially, Deputy Clifton said he noticed a tag violation as the vehicle passed his location, then an equipment violation. During the roadside investigation, it was discovered Mrs. Christian had given a false name to place the liability on another person, Clifton said.
She was placed under arrest and an inventory of the vehicle was conducted. Deputies located a purple powder-like substance, consistent with fentanyl seen in Oklahoma recently. The inventory
