Patsy grew up in Wynnewood, graduating from Wynnewood High School, Class of 1952. Following their marriage, she and Paul made their home in California for a few years, prior to returning to Sulphur in the late 1950’s. She spent 21 years employed at the Oklahoma School for the Deaf, in Sulphur, where she worked in the cafeteria. In her spare time, she and Paul enjoyed traveling.
Throughout their marriage, they traveled to all 50 states, as well as to Europe, Canada and Mexico.
She also enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and shopping.
After returning to Sulphur in the late 1950’s, Patsy became a very active member of the Sulphur Pentecostal Holiness Church. Her commitment to the Lord and her church was unwavering.
Survivors include her two daughters, Jeanie Jennings and Paula Thomas and husband Bo; four grandchildren, Jeff Jennings and wife Jodi, Crystal Ingram and husband Jerry, Levi Thomas and wife Beth and Josh Jennings and wife Sari, all of Davis; and ten great-grandchildren, Jaylee and Jett Jennings, Dalton Ingram and wife Paige and Ashton Ingram, Paden, Schane and Jason Thomas and Jax and Jenner Jennings; and one great-great grandson, Daxton Love.
In addition to her parents and husband, Patsy was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Roger Jennings; one brother, W.B. “Dubs” Driver; and one sister, Jean Rose.
Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 10, 2024, at the Pentecostal Holiness Church, in Sulphur, with Brother Lance Bonner officiating.
Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Jennings, Crystal Ingram, Levi Thomas, Josh Jennings, Chuck Bonham and Dustin Hood.
