Elizabeth was born August 6, 1961, in Oklahoma City, to the late James P. & Betty G. (Lamb) Quinton. She died on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024, in Oklahoma City. Elizabeth and Mr. Darrell D. Buckner were united in marriage on July 6, 1985, in Roff.

Elizabeth grew up in the Oklahoma City and Okarche areas, prior to she and her family moving to the Roff area in 1972. After graduating from Stratford High School, Class of 1980, she pursued a career in nursing Survivors include her husband, Darrell; two daughters, Kimberley Buckner and Teeoti Humphrey and husband Randy, both of Ada; five grandchildren, Sydney, Colbi, Shannon, Laurese, and Grace; four great-grandchildren, Mara, Jordan, Lexi, and Jayden; her five siblings, Vickie Spray and husband Chuck, James Quinton and wife Leesia; her twin sister Lisa Melton and husband Randy, Rose Ray and husband Terry, and Clint Quinton and wife Kim; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by one sister, Cynthia Rose Amos.
