Wesley Michael Boylan, Jr.

Wesley Michael Boylan, Jr. was born June 11, 1935, in Munnsville, NY, to the late Wesley Michael and Pauline Elizabeth (White) Boylan, Sr. He died Friday, Jan. 3, 2025, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 89. Wesley and Sandy Lester were united in marriage on August 20, 1955, in Munnsville. To the union were born five children Dale, Darby, Dawn, Darrin, and Danette.

Wesley was a very active individual. He enjoyed traveling with friends and family, collecting vintage tractors, hunting, snowmobiling and anything to do with NASCAR.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy; three daughters, Darby Porter, Dawn Chambrey, and Danette Daoust; two sons, Darrin Boylan and Dale Boylan; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; as well as one sister, Ida Griff.

In addition to his parents, Wesley was preceded in death by two brothers, William and James Boylan; one granddaughter, Victoria; and one great-granddaughter, Cali.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, at the Springer Missionary Baptist Church, in Springer, with Jamie Gentry officiating.
