Patsy Kay Salter
Patsy Kay Salter

Patsy grew up in Ringling. After graduating from Ringling High School, she attended Murray State College, where she met her soon to be husband, Jimmy. After the two married, they made their home in Stillwater, while Jimmy attended Oklahoma State University. After Jimmy graduated from OSU, they returned to Davis to raise their family.
Patsy spent many years working for the Davis Public School System as a secretary. Throughout her time at Davis School, she formed countless friendships with her colleagues, as well as her beloved students. Patsy loved children and became like a second mother to many. Every student became her “Baby.” The impact that she had on children was one that was positive, as well as lifelong.
Patsy was the epitome of class. She never left home without looking as if she had just stepped out of fashion magazine. Patsy was not only beautiful in appearance, but she also had a beautiful soul. She always dressed to the “nines” and to do so, she shopped continually. She lived by the adage “cleanliness is next to Godliness” and made sure her sons practiced that same belief growing up. Patsy will be remembered for her beautiful smile, as well as for being kind, gentle, caring and above all, loving everyone.
Survivors include her three sons, Kyle Salter of Davis, Kevin Salter and spouse Kelly of Oklahoma City, and Kris Salter and spouse Jenny of Ada; five grandchildren, John Salter and wife Bekah, Brandon Salter, Kristin Pullen and husband Tanner, Abby Salter and Mason Salter; as well as seven great-grandchildren, Landon, Kaydon, Jayla, Blakely, Every, Tripp and Archer.
In addition to her parents and husband, Patsy was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Willis.
Per Patsy’s request/orders, no services will be held. Cremation was “Entrusted To” HALE’S Funeral Home of Davis, OK.
