Kimberly Lynn “Kim” Kimbro was born May 14, 1971, in Kingfisher, to Gordon and Malinda (Tonkinson) Kerr. She passed from this life on Sunday, March 23, 2025, in Davis, following a courageous battle with cancer. Kim and Brian J. Kimbro were married on July 18, 1998, in Sulphur. To this union were born two daughters, Rainey and Bailey.

Kim grew up in Hennessey, graduating from Hennessey High School, Class of 1989. After high school she made her home in Tulsa, prior to moving toArdmore where she worked for the Dollar General Warehouse and Distribution Center.

Kim was an avid reader, reading anything she could get her hands on.As a devoted mother and grandmother, she cherished every moment she found to spend with daughters and grandchildren. Kim enjoyed going on family camping trips and tending to her flower beds. She was a huge Dr. Pepper fan and always had one within arm’s length.

Survivors include her husband, Brian; two daughters, Rainey Kimbro of Antioch and Bailey Kimbro of Davis; her parents, Gordon and Malinda Kerr of Hennessey; four grandchildren, Graciee, A’Riyah, Addison and Asher; two sisters, Delores Koehn and Lori Bohnstedt; father-in-law, Wes Kimbro of Davis; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as three bonus children, Lindsay Eddy, Jayden Williams and Katie Garcia.

Kim was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John W. and Nona Tonkinson; paternal grandparents, Marvin and Lavina Kerr; and mother-in-law, Ann Kimbro Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Hale’s Memorial Chapel, in Davis, with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery, in Davis.
