Charlene Ruth (Rogers) Fullerton-Tigert
Charlene grew up in Davis, graduating Salutatorian of the Davis High School Class of 1956. After she and Dwayne married, she spent her working years keeping books for the family-owned housing construction company. It was a known fact, she was not the man running the job, but rather the woman who knew what was going on in the business.
Survivors include her son, Steve Fullerton and wife Debbie of Plano, TX; two grandchildren, Racheal Jones and husband Sean, and Jacob Fullerton; one great-grandchild, Hadrian Adair Jones; three sisters-inlaw, Robbie Rogers, Mary Lee Fletcher and Kaye Fullerton; as well as numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Charlene was preceded in death by one grandson, Benjamin Fullerton; and her three brothers, W.A. England and wife Jeannette, Charley “Gub” Rogers, and Houston “Hoot” Rogers and wife Janice.
Funeral services were held 1:00 p.m., Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, at Hale’s Memorial Chapel, in Davis, with Willard McCartney, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.
