Doris T. Drake was born November 20, 1929, to Tommy and Ola Patton, in Springer, Oklahoma. She transitioned to Heaven on April 13, 2024, at the age of 94 years. Doris grew up in Springer, where she attended school and was a member of the graduating class of 1949. She was a member of the Vinita Avenue Church of Christ and will be laid to rest on April 17, 2024 in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Kenneth Carl Biggerstaff, a long time resident of Sulphur, was born on February 13, 1946 in Oklahoma City, to William D. Biggerstaff, Jr. and Blanche Holder Biggerstaff.

Jason Wade Ward was born June 1, 1977, in Oklahoma City, to the late Emmett Glenn and Pamela Sue (Goeders) Ward. He died on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, in Norman, at the age of 46. Jason and Amy Jean Smith were married on March 6, 2009, in Sulphur.

Judy Ruth Orsborn, of Stratford, was born September 19, 1949, in Sulphur, to the late John E. and Helen L. (Shorter) Orsborn. She died on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the age of 74 years, 6 months, and 23 days.

John “JW” Payne, 71, of Tulsa, passed away on March 17, 2024, after a sudden decline in his health.

Douglas “Doug” H. Grubbs, Jr., 80, of Sulphur, passed away on Thursday,April 4, 2024. Doug was born in Walters, on January 2, 1944.

Jim Baker, of Sulphur, was born on October 4, 1937 in Olney, Texas to James Newton and Viola Kaye (Rogers) Baker. He passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 in Sulphur, at the age of 86 years, five months, and 27 days.

Regena Louise Brown Rogers, or as we lovingly knew her, Nikki Rogers, was born to Ray Dean and Bernice Brown on September 14, 1946. She passed to her heavenly home on April 5, 2024.

Mary Alene (Conner) Sites completed her earthly journey on April 3, 2024, at the age of 86 years, 3 months, and 10 days, in Sulphur. She was born on December 24, 1937, in Quinlan, Oklahoma, to her loving parents Holden Bryan and Margaret Iris (Gillespie) Conner.

Myrle Riley, beloved wife, mother, sister, and nana, passed away peacefully at her home on April 3, 2024, at the age of 90. She was born on January 30, 1934, and throughout her rich and full life, she left a positive impact on everyone she encountered.

Kevin Calhoun Hembree, a resident of Sulphur, Oklahoma, was born on May 28, 1965 in Riverside, California. He passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in Sulphur at the age of 58 years, 10 months, and four days. Kevin liked to work on and restore old items. He also loved going to the casino. Kevin had a big heart and would help anyone if he could. He served our country proudly in the United States Marine Corp.
