Funeral services for L.D. Kelser were held 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2024, at Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Sulphur with Pastor Bill Leveridge officiating. Interment followed at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur.

Patsy Fay Gray was born July 14, 1935, in Shawnee, to the late William Bewey and Ona Bell (Blackwell) Driver. She went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, June 4, 2024, in Sulphur, at the age 88. She and Paul Elton Gray were united in marriage on March 12, 1953 in Gainesville, TX. He preceded her in death on October 2, 2017.

Gerald Dean Robinson was born on October 28, 1965, in Wynnewood. He passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, in Sulphur, at the age of 58. Gerald and the former Ms. Cynthia “Cindy” Billings were married on November 25, 2011, in Midwest City.

Harrel Akers, better known by family and friends as “Biggon,” was born October 4, 1934, in Dougherty, to the late Johnnie Oscar and Alta Mae (Hale) Akers. He died on Monday, May 27, 2024, in Davis, at the age of 89 years, 7 months and 23 days. Biggon and the late Hildagard “Hilda” Huster were united in marriage on July 14, 1959, in Baumholder, Germany. From this marriage were born three daughters, Kathy, Karen, and Dian.

Robert Dean Price was born on January 28, 1941, in the Chickasaw National Recreational Area, in Sulphur, to the late Hubert & Eva (Roach) Price. He passed from this life on Friday, May 24, 2024, in Sulphur, at the age of 83.

A Celebration of Life for Jackie Henry, 78, of Ada will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at Wintersmith Lodge in Ada with remarks and remembrances beginning at 1:00 p.m.

James Junior Busby, better known by all as “Junior,” was born December 11, 1939, in Dougherty, to the late James C. “Jim” and Martha E. (McCray) Busby. He died on Thursday, May 30, 2024, in Sulphur, at the age of 84. Junior and the late Patricia Ann “Pat” Barnett were united in marriage on September 4, 1959, in Davis. She preceded him in death on January 26, 2021.

Mary Alice Cottrell, better known by her family as “Marme,” was born June 3, 1937, in Oklahoma City, to the late James Anthony and Elsie (Booker) Horn. She passed from this life on Sunday, May 5, 2024, in Davis, at the age of 86.

Loura Jean Chalfant Jack was born January 8, 1929, in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. She passed from this life May 26, 2024, at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lowe Chalfant and Loura Amy Warren Chalfant; her three dear brothers, J. Warren, Billy, and Wesley Chalfant; her husband, James Roland Jack; and her son, Clayton Chalfant Jack.

Linda Ann Caldwell, of Stratford, was born December 8, 1952 in Atoka, to Clifton and Lillie (Williams) Finney. She passed away at her home south of Stratford at the age of 71 years, 5 months and 11 days.

Terri Renee’ Huddleston, 67, of Sulphur, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024 in Sulphur.

Courtney Leann (Amos) Sorrells was born December 7, 1998, in Ada. She died Sunday, May 5, 2024, in Davis, at the age of 25.
