Carolyn Jo (Wiles) Hessney was born November 4, 1945, in Sulphur, to the late James Leonard and Wanda (Davis) Wiles. She died on Thursday, Oct. 3, in Sulphur, at the age of 78. She and Boyd “Duffy” Hessney were united in marriage on December 3, 1977. He preceded her in death on April 13, 2010.

Cordelia Mae Crockett was born August 9, 1937, in Oklahoma City, to the late George and Edith (Sapp) Crockett. She died on Friday, October 4, 2024, in Sulphur, at the age of 87 years, 1 month and 25 days.

DavidAllen Moore was born on May 10, 1942, in Stratford, to Henry Allen and Bertha (Summers) Moore. He passed away on Saturday, Oct. 12, in Ada, at the age of 82 years, five months, and two days.

Terry Paul Wyatt, Sr. age 73, a resident of Sulphur, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at his home in Sulphur. No services are scheduled at this time .

Keith Alan Webb was born June 2, 1965, in Montebello, CA, to William Clyde Williams and Barbara Sue Morgan. He died on Monday, October 7, 2024, in Sulphur, at the age of 59. Keith and the former Ms. Katherine Jeannine McCoy were married on May 20, 2010.

Maxine (Cox) Luellen was born June 26, 1932, in Harden County, OH, to the late Benjamin Harrison and Bessie Louise (Taynor) Cox. She passed from this life on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, in Dougherty, OK, at the age of 92.

Dec 14 1933 - Sep 24 2024 Lawannah “Anita” Carr, of Sulphur, was born December 14, 1933 in the Dolberg community, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Willie (Bowlin) Summers. She passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2024 in Sulphur, at the age of 90 years, 9 months and 10 days. Anita graduated from Roff High School. Tom Carr and Anita Summers were married on June 2, 1956 at the First Baptist Church in Sulphur. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2015.

Linda Darlene Kennedy was born January 19, 1948, in Duncan, to the late Earl Richard and Viola Kate (Hobbs) Eaves. She died on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, in Davis, at the age of 76. Linda and Wendell Dean Kennedy were married on October 18, 1968, in Gainesville, TX. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1997.

Phyllis Oletha Sweeten was born on February 6, 1936 in Seminole to Charles and Ella (Peltier) Hankins. She passed away on Monday, Sept.23, 2024 in Norman, at the age of 88 years, 7 months and 17 days. Phyllis moved to Sulphur at an early age and attended Sulphur Schools. She worked in several different jobs but mostly enjoyed being with family.

Roy Curtis Webb was born February 23, 1944, in Ryan, to the late James L. “Gub” and Minnie L. (Pursley) Webb. He died on Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, in Oklahoma City, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Denzil “Denny” Leon Powell, born onAugust 29, 1940, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abby Winnford and Artie Gee Powell, and his brother, Jerry Powell.
