January 23, 1942–September 13, 2024 Marian Frances Sharber, 82, was born January 23, 1942 in El Dorado, OK to the late Thomas and& Esther (Durham) Adams. She passed from this earth on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024 in Sulphur surrounded by her family. She and Doyle Sharber were married on April 20, 1968, in Stratford, OK. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2017.

Leo was born December 31, 2013 and went home to Jesus on August 31, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. At four months of age, Leo became the treasured son of Hank and Deziree Beasley of Murray County. For 10 years and 9 months, Leo fought courageously the effects of Shaken Baby Syndrome.

Trudy Lucille Knight, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 31, 2024. Born on July 25, 1949, Trudy was a graduate of Sulphur High School and went on to attend nursing school at St. Anthony’s.

Janet Kay Baldock, of Sulphur, was born on November 9, 1955 in Muskogee, to Jasper and June (Scism) Hayes. She passed away on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, at her home in Sulphur at the age of 68 years, nine months and 26 days.

August 14, 1958 – September 1, 2024 Richard Monroe Redmond passed away at the age of 66 years and 18 days on Monday, September 1, 2024, in Mill Creek. He was born on August 14, 1958, in Sulphur, to Ezekiel Monroe and Martha Marie (Welborn) Redmond.

Marvin Edward Wallace was born October 12, 1949, in Pauls Valley, to the late Benjamin and Era (Brokeshoulder) Wallace. He died on Thursday, August 29, 2024, in Sulphur, at the age of 74. Marvin and the former Ms. Ruby Mae Amos were married on April 19, 1969, in Ada.

Tamara Dawn “Tammy” McClellan was born March 10, 1965, in Ponca City, to the late Bill James and Kathryn Ann (Cassady) Sprueill. She died on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in Davis, at the age of 59 years, 5 months and 18 days.

Richard Lee Sexton was born August 12, 1956, in Tulsa, to the late William L. and Marjorie M. (Carter) Sexton. He died on Friday, August 30, 2024, in Sulphur, at the age of 68 years and 18 days.

Gary Lloyd Johnson was born July 15, 1944, in Bowie, TX, to the late Harold L. and Jerry D. (Jarvis) Johnson Downing. He died on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, in Sulphur, at the age of 80. Gary and the former Ms. Barbara F. Duggins were married on June 5, 1963, in Mangum. To this union were born two sons, Dustin and Brandon. Gary grew up in Mangum. After graduating from Mangum High School, Class of 1962, he continued his education at OSU Tech in Okmulgee, where he earned a degree in Electrical Construction. Following college, Gary worked as an oil field electrician for Conoco Oil in Enid. In 1980, he happily accepted a promotion and moved his family to Davis. He later worked for Haliburton Services in both Davis and Duncan, prior to retiring from the Hanover Corporation. Throughout his career, he also owned and operated Johnson’s Electric. Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara; Dustin Johnson of Sulphur, Tammy Johnson of Davis and Brandon Johnson and wife Melody of Midwest City; six grandchildren, Tyler Johnson and wife Brittany, Kylie Griffin and husband Chance, Dylen Merrell and husband Trever, Dane Johnson, Austin Johnson and Caleb Johnson; eight great-grandchildren, Saylor, Cannon, Presti, Teller, Ronin, Rook, Ryker and LaRue; as well as one sister, Karen Kaiser and husband Terry, one brother, Duane Johnson, and one brother-in-law Bob Duggins and wife Charla of the Woodlands, Tx.

Paula Jean Lewis, 89, was born on August 10, 1935, to the late Tol and Hazel (Coln) Dickenson. She was ‘Booper’ to her sisters, ‘Momma’ to her children, and ‘Grandma’ to many more. She passed from this earth on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at home, surrounded by her family.
